Current Reading List

I have never been a bookworm, but I always liked the idea of being one. And recently I thought to myself that it is never too late. So I went to saxo.com and purchased a bunch of books that I had heard good things about and I found interesting.

The first one that ended in my basket was #Girlboss. This is also the one that I have started on. So far I find it very interesting and enjoyable. It is about the author Sophia Amoruso, who is also the founder of the online concept Nasty Gal. In the book she takes us through her journey from zero to hero. This book is very inspiring and motivational for women that wan’t to find there inner Girlboss.

The second book that I wanted to get my hands on was Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg. I can’t remember where I heard about her the first time, but I stumbled upon it in the bookstore, I remembered the book to be very interesting, because she tells her side of the story on how businesses and leaderships often are a mens' world, and how she as a woman managed to work her way to the top.

Third book I got was 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen R. Covey. This was a recommendation from a girl on youtube called Patricia Bright. I have been feeling a bit down for a while, am constantly postponing things and procrastinating. So I wanted to see if this book can help me and maybe steer me in the right direction again. I have read that it has even helped former president Bill Clinton in his presidency. So I’d say it is worth giving it a go.

The last book I got was The beginning of everything by Robyn Schneider. I got this one mainly because I needed to spend a bit more to get free shipping, but I am glad I did, because it seems very exciting. It is about a boy who goes from having everything going for him to nothing after he gets in a car accident. I believe this gook falls in to the same category as The Fault In Out Stars, which I really enjoyed, so I am looking forward to starting on this one.

If you have any recommendations for me, you are welcome to leave a comment, and I will check it out. Thanks you!
